Relatório de estágio: análise do nível de incumprimento de crédito a particulares

Abstract

No âmbito do mestrado em Finanças surgiu a oportunidade de realizar um estágio curricular no CCAM Vale do Távora e Douro. O objetivo deste relatório é apresentar os resultados do estágio, efetuado no âmbito do Mestrado em Finanças. Deste modo descrevemos as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio, efetuamos uma revisão de literatura e um estudo empírico sobre o incumprimento dos clientes da CCAM. Concluímos que a probabilidade de incumprimento aumenta: i) nos casos da tipologia cartão de crédito; ii) com a TAE; iii) com o valor do empréstimo; iv) com rendimentos mais baixos; v) para mutuários com níveis inferiores de habilitações literárias (nomeadamente ensino primário e secundário); vi) consoante a situação profissional (no caso dos mutuários reformados e desempregados).

At the Master´s in Finance context has arised the opportunity to attend a curricular internship at CCAM Vale do Távora e Douro. The main objective of this report is to present the results of the internship within the ambit of the master's degree in finance. That way we describe the internship, we accomplish a literature review and an empirical study on noncompliance of CCAM customers. We conclude that the probability of default increases: i) in cases of credit card typology; ii) with the TAE; iii) with the value of the loan; iv) with lower incomes; v) in case of customers with lower literacy levels (in particular primary and secondary level of education); (vi) depending on the professional situation (in the case of retired and unemployed customers).
