contributos teóricos, nomeadamente do domínio do Desenvolvimento
Curricular, Administração Educacional, História da Educação, Modelos
Organizacionais e Sociologia das Organizações Escolares.
A problemática estudada é a articulação curricular no Ensino Básico (1.º e 2.º
Neste sentido, a articulação curricular vertical, estando
The present text deals with Curricular Articulation. Although it constitutes the central subject, its discussion does not disregard the main theoretical field of Curricular Management. The theoretical framework of areas such as Curriculum Development, Educational Administration, History of the Education, Organizational Models and Sociology of the School Organizations also contribute to its discussion. The studied issue is the curricular articulation between the first and second cycles of the Basic Education (1º e 2º Ciclos), framed within a context of a Flexible Management of the Curriculum. This new management of the curriculum is a daring and innovative change that requires different practices of curricular development. Therefore this text intends to reveal and clarify the purposes of organizational and collaborative practices, which are used in the implementation of a Project of Flexible Management of the Curriculum. A case study was the selected methodology. The collected data are predominantly qualitative, so as to verify the existence of curricular articulation. The chosen schools belong to the Vertical Grouping of “Escolas da EB 2/3 do Prado”. Thus, it was possible to conclude that, despite a formal intention of promoting the articulation, which is visible in the documents of the grouping, the practice of the articulation is not visible. In this sense, the practice of the intentional vertical curricular articulation expresses itself in passive, even shy terms. The practice of curricular articulation still has a long way to go until it reaches what is called an active articulation. As far as horizontal curricular articulation is concerned, although far away from the expected, it begins to find its way, gaining visibility in punctual manifestations. |
