A crise e o impacto no financiamento das ONGD: o caso da Fundação Fé e Cooperação (FEC)

Abstract

O Relatório de Estágio em questão tem como principal objetivo responder à questão de investigação “Qual o impacto da crise nas ONGD?”, tendo enfoque direto na FEC (Fundação Fé e Cooperação), local de eleição para a realização de um estágio curricular. O cerne deste estudo passa por responder e perceber se o fenómeno crise veio afetar o volume de financiamento da ONGD em causa. E se o mesmo fenómeno, trouxe consigo consequências como por exemplo, o alargar das atividades com o intuito de obter financiamento de forma a colocar em prática os projetos ou então se estas ONGD optaram por procurar outras formas de financiamento como por exemplo, o financiamento internacional. Como forma de obter as respostas pretendidas realizaram-se algumas entrevistas, como por exemplo, à Plataforma das ONGD, ao Instituto Camões e à Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian para avaliarmos o caso em concreto da FEC e também apresentar alguns pontos mais gerais sobre o mundo das ONGD.

The Training Report in question aims to answer the following research question “What is the impact of the current economic crisis on development NGOs?”, with a specific focus on FEC (Faith and Cooperation Foundation), the chosen NGOs for the traineeship. The core of this study is to look into and answer if this crisis phenomenon has had affect on the amount of funding received by the studied development NGOs. And to study if the same phenomenon, resulted in consequences such as the broadening of the activities in order to obtain extra financing in a way that they could put into practice their projects or if these Development NGOs chose to seek other forms of financing such as international financing. In order to obtain an answer to the research question, interviews were conducted aimed at organizations such as the Platform of the Development NGOs, the Camões Institute and Calouste Gulnbenkian Foundation to evaluate the particular case of the FEC and also present some more general points about the world of Development NGOs.
