Ler para aprender : o texto informativo no 1º ano de escolaridade

Abstract

O presente trabalho resulta da implementação de uma sequência de ensino, numa turma do 1.º ano de escolaridade do 1.º ciclo de Ensino Básico, em torno de um género textual – o texto informativo. De um modo geral, esta investigação visa avaliar o seu efeito no desenvolvimento de competências de leitura, nomeadamente ao nível da identificação, da extração e da manipulação da informação. Nesse sentido, a sequência contemplou dois momentos de avaliação, um no início e outro no final do projeto, com vista à realização de uma análise comparativa. Os resultados obtidos revelam algumas melhorias, ao nível da identificação e da manipulação da informação, todavia, também atestam que há ainda muito trabalho a fazer ao nível da compreensão leitora.

This paper results from the implementation of a teaching sequence designed in a class of 1st grade of the primary school, around a textual genre – informative text. In general, this research aims to evaluate the effect of the sequence in the development of reading skills, particularly in terms of identification, extraction and manipulation of information. In this sense, the sequence included two stages of evaluation, at the beginning and at the end of the project. Its purpose is to realise a comparative analysis between the two moments. The results show some improvements, at the level of identification and manipulation of information, however, also show that there is still much work to do in terms of reading comprehension.
