Berço adaptável ao crescimento do bebé : conforto e vigilância no infantário

Abstract

A investigação tem como principal objetivo o desenho de um berço adaptável ao crescimento do bebé, dos três meses aos três anos, para ambiente de infantário. O sono contribui fortemente para o crescimento saudável da criança mas são as experiências diárias que condicionam a recetividade da criança para dormir. No infantário, as constantes mudanças de local de sono, de salas e de educadoras prejudicam a criança e provocam, na maioria das vezes, desconforto, inadaptação e experiências e memórias negativas do percurso pré-escolar. A rotina é fundamental na fase de crescimento, ajuda a criança no sentido de prever as atividades que vão surgindo e age como tranquilizante. Deste modo, desenvolve-se um berço que acompanha a criança no longo processo de desenvolvimento e que se adapta constantemente a necessidades específicas. O produto pretende oferecer o conforto e a segurança que o bebé necessita e, de igual forma, proporcionar às educadoras uma boa utilização. Reconhecendo-se as vantagens da rotina, promove-se a possibilidade de adoção de uma nova estratégia de educação, centrada na criação de vínculos afetivos entre a criança, o berço e a educadora, onde durante o percurso pré-escolar, não existem mudanças que prejudicam o bem-estar emocional da criança.

The main objective of the research is to design, for nursery environment, an adaptable cradle to the growth of the baby, from 3 months to 3 years old. Sleep is a vital need, essential to a child’s health and growth, but are the negatives experiences that influence the receptivity to the sleep activity. In the nursery, the constant change of where children sleep, the change of educators and rooms can affect children, causing in the majority of the cases, discomfort, unadaptation, negative experiences and negative memories of preschool course. The routine is fundamental in the growth stage, it helps the baby in a way of predicting activities that come along and works as a tranquilizer. This way, was created a cradle that follows the child in the long process of development and adapts constantly to specific needs. The product intend to offer the comfort and security that a baby needs. Equally provide to the educator a good use. Recognizing the advantages of routine, is proposed the possibility of adoption of a new strategy of education, centered in the creation of affection ties, between the child, the cradle and the educators, where during the nursery, there are no changes that impair the child emotional well-being.
