Estudo perceptivo das consoantes oclusivas em Nampula

Abstract

O presente trabalho centra-se no comportamento linguístico dos falantes da língua portuguesa na província de Nampula, no concernente ao ensurdecimento das consoantes oclusivas sonoras [b], [d] e [g]. Constitui objectivo geral investigar o fenómeno de ensurdecimento das consoantes oclusivas sonoras na província de Nampula e são objectivos específicos: comparar o sistema linguístico do Emakhuwa com o do Português; analisar o discurso dos falantes; propor estratégias de superação do problema. Escolheu-se esta temática do âmbito fonético, porque o ensurdecimento das consoantes oclusivas sonoras é muito frequente por parte dos falantes cuja língua materna é Emakhuwa. Estes falantes não só cometem erros ortoépicos, mas também escrevem erradamente. São factores do ensurdecimento das consoantes em estudo influência da língua emakhuwa, falta de conhecimento da fonética e da fonologia, falta de valorização da oralidade nas escolas moçambicanas, existência de professores bilingues, falta de ensino do abecedário português nas escolas, falta de hábitos de leitura, falta de contacto com o português europeu e falta de exigência por parte de professores. Esta dissertação apresenta cinco capítulos. No primeiro, apresentamos a importância do trabalho, a metodologia, os bantu e as suas línguas e o aparecimento da língua portuguesa em Moçambique. No segundo, são apresentados alguns aspectos teóricos, no terceiro, faz-se a análise dos dados, no quarto, são descritos os factores de ensurdecimento das consoantes oclusivas sonoras e no quinto, estão patentes as conclusões. Na parte final são apresentados a bibliografia e os anexos.

The present dissertation is concerned with linguistic behaviour of people who speak Portuguese in Nampula province, focused on the unvoicing of the plosives consonants [b], [d] and [g]. The main objective of the present work is to investigate the phenomenon behind the unvoicing of the consonants mentioned before. The specific objective is to compare the linguistic systems of Emakhuwa language with Portuguese, analyze the speech of both: Portuguese and Emakhuwa speakers, propose strategies on how to overcome the presented problem. The present topic was chosen because this problem is more frequent with people who have Emakhuwa as their mother tongue, bearing in mind that they also commit many orthographic errors. The factors of deafness on the consonants mentioned above are the following: the influence of Mother tongue, lack of knowledge about phonetics and phonology, lack of oral practice in many mozambican schools, existence of bilingual teachers, no teaching of alphabet from Portuguese and lack of demand from teachers to students. The present dissertation has five chapters. In the first chapter there are presented the importance of the work, the methodology, the bantu and their languages, the raise of Portuguese language in Mozambique. The second chapter is compiled with some theoretical aspects, the third chapter we have the data analysis, on the fourth chapter there are described the factors of unvoicing on the consonants in study and the fifth chapter we have the conclusion. Finally, the last part is included the bibliography and the attachments.
