Abstract: | Neste trabalho estudam-se filmes finos de Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) no
A análise
A análise estrutural
In this work, Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) thin films were studied in order to evaluate the influence of the sulfurization conditions (temperature, time and sulfur mass) on their physical properties in order to optimize the applications as absorbent layer in solar cells. The precursor structures were grown through deposition of eight periods consisting on layers of binaries precursors (CuS, SnS2) and of Zn. The morphological, structural and optical analysis was based on SEM, EDS, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, electroluminescence and photoluminescence. It was found that the sulfurized samples at higher temperature and higher sulfur mass showed higher CZTS grain size. The structural analysis has shown that dominant phase in all samples was the CZTS phase. The photoluminescence study of the sample with higher grain size and higher cell conversion showed that the dominant band corresponds to radiative recombination of electrons localized in tails of the conduction band and holes localized in acceptor energy levels. It was estimated an ionization energy for the acceptor levels of 284±8 meV and a depth of 22±1 meV for the electrons energy levels in the tail of the conduction band. The non-radiative de-excitation mechanisms were assigned to two channels, one involving a discrete energy level and another involving a band. |
