Brasil e Portugal: Representações e Imagens

Abstract

Este artigo tem como objectivo apresentar alguns limites e indicações de possível comparação entre as imagens da sociedade brasileira e da sociedade portuguesa, expondo-se as diferentes visões e representações que uma tem da outra, utilizando, para o efeito, o olhar de diferentes autores Portugueses e Brasileiros. Para situar melhor a dinâmica dessas relações, será apresentada uma pesquisa apontando possíveis diferenças, estereótipos, preconceitos e visões mútuas, concluindo-se que auto e hetero de Portugueses e Brasileiros raramente coincidem.

This article aims to show some limits and indications of some possible comparisons between the images and represenatations of the Brazilian and the Portuguese society, showing different visions, stereotypes and representations that they have from each other using the perspective of Portuguese an Brazilian authors.
