Abstract: This document presents the main specifications of the microbiological sensor prototype, aimed to perform a sensible and selective detection of E. coli on water environments. Currently, this corresponds to the development phase prototype, built to test the transducer and the signal acquisition systems. Firstly, it is given a general description of this device. On the following chapter, the transducer and signal acquisition systems are discriminated from each other and a global view on its individual functional components is introduced, including explanatory pictures and the respective bills of materials.
