A fusão da música erudita e jazz para aprendizes de saxofone

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como finalidade a realização de um método que une ensinamentos de estilos aparentemente contrastantes como jazz e música erudita, fundamentado através de exercícios por músicos de referência neste instrumento. O método tem como objetivo a exploração e domínio de quatro parâmetros fundamentais da música: técnica; ritmo; melodia e improvisação, sendo estes, organizados por níveis de dificuldade progressiva. Uma vez absorvidos e dominados os parâmetros referidos, este material auxiliar ao estudo ajudará o aluno a alcançar os seguintes objetivos: cultivar a criatividade e a percepção da música Erudita e Jazz (ou música improvisada) como duas variantes que resultam dum mesmo processo: a organização e relação entre sons

The aim of this work is the making of a method which mixes teachings of seemingly different styles, like a jazz and erudite music, based on the collection of exercises by reference musicians in this instrument. The method has as objective the exploration and mastery of four basic fundamentals of music: technique, rhythm, melody and improvisation, these being organized by levels of progressive difficulty. Once the mentioned parameters are absorbed and mastered, this auxiliary material will help the student to achieve the following objectives: to cultivate the creativity and the perception of Erudite and Jazz (or improvised music) as two variants that result from the same process: the organization and relationship between sounds
