Pavimentos rodoviários flexíveis : exemplo de análise económica

Abstract

No panorama que se apresenta actualmente, qualquer tomada de decisão sobre uma intervenção a efectuar, uma nova infra-estrutura a executar ou uma solução construtiva a empregar deve ser estudada exaustivamente e devidamente fundamentada. Assim, por um lado temos os pavimentos flexíveis por toda a Europa num estado cada vez mais avançado de degradação a necessitar de intervenções urgentes e, por outro lado, temos os novos empreendimentos e infra-estruturas a construir. Para ambos os cenários é necessário estudar e analisar as diferentes possibilidades presentes no mercado que garantam a adopção da melhor solução, que alie vantagens técnicas, reduzidos custos de execução, sustentabilidade ambiental e segurança e conforto para o utilizador. Começando pelas soluções de reciclagem de pavimentos existentes, passando pelo tratamento dos materiais fresados e finalizando nas mais recentes inovações em termos de betumes asfálticos modificados, é possível garantir que a solução adoptada é realmente a mais vantajosa para o dono de obra, para a entidade executante e para o utilizador final.

ABSTRACT: In the panorama that currently presents, any decision making on a given intervention to take place, a new infrastructure to execute or a new constructive solution to use must be studied exhaustingly and duly based. Thus, on one hand we have the flexible pavements all over Europe in a more and more advanced state of degradation in need of urgent interventions and, on the other hand, we have the new infrastructures to construct. For both the scenarios it is necessary to study and to analyze the different possibilities present in the market in order to guarantee the adoption of the best solution, that unites techniques advantages, reduced costs of execution, environment sustainability and security and comfort for the user. Beginning with the different solutions to recycle existing pavements, passing through the treatment of milling materials and finishing in the most recent innovations in modified asphalt bitumen, it is possible to guarantee that the final adopted solution is really the most advantageous for the infrastructure owner, for the constructor and for the final user.
