Resumo: This article presents the results of a project developed within the scope of English for Specific Purposes, which aimed to explore the potential of collaborative and multidisciplinary work by combining Computer-Assisted Translation and the use of authentic materials, namely interactive coding learning modules based on several programming languages available in the online platform Code Avengers. The analysis of the data gathered from a questionnaire applied to the students that participated in the project points towards the added value of such an initiative, not only in what concerns the development of both linguistic and soft skills (i.e. working with coding tools, in group, and under pressure), but also regarding the use of authentic materials and the integration of the students’ work in a resource used worldwide. Nonetheless, students also emphasised the need for a closer interaction and articulation between the different groups in future editions.
