Considering the strong growth and competition of hospitality services in Portugal, it becomes an arduous task for hospitality managers to attract new customers and retain existing ones. In this way, this study, exploratory in nature, has tested some of the variables that may lead to the satisfaction of the clients, taking into consideration the Moliceiro Hotel. Through a questionnaire applied to the hotel guests, this study identified the quality attributes more valued in hotel services, as well as it was possible to create a hierarchy between them; it also identified the main motivations that led them to choose this hotel; and it was found the effect of perceived quality on satisfaction and, consequently, on the behavioral intention and the intention to complain. Through the analysis that was made, the positive effect of perceived quality on customer satisfaction stands out and, consequently, the effect of satisfaction on intention to return to the same hotel and, given the target population in question, it becomes difficult to get the same guest to stay twice in the same hotel. |
