A renascença portuguesa: projeto editorial e ideário cívico-cultural

Abstract

O presente trabalho pretende reconstituir o catálogo editorial da Renascença Portuguesa e realizar a sua análise sistemática e contextualizada, enquadrando-o no ideário estético-ideológico e no programa de intervenção cívica do movimento portuense. Este estudo procura ainda destacar o papel crucial que, no âmbito da atividade editorial da Renascença Portuguesa, desempenhou o editor Álvaro Pinto, ilustrando-o através da correspondência que com ele mantiveram alguns escritores.

This dissertation aims to reconstruct the editorial catalogue of the cultural movement Renascença Portuguesa and carry out its systematic and contextualized analysis, setting it within the ideological and aesthetic framework of the movement and its purposes of civic education. It also seeks to bring to light the instrumental role played by editor Álvaro Pinto within the editorial activity accomplished by the Renascença Portuguesa by illustrating it through the correspondence with some writers.
