Estudo de acidentes com visitantes em centros comerciais

Abstract

Num mercado cada vez mais exigente a todos os níveis, é também num contexto de Higiene e Segurança, que as empresas se vêm na obrigação de garantir o bem-estar dos seus colaboradores e neste caso em específico, também dos seus clientes. Dado que nos centros comerciais, geridos pela Sonae Sierra em Espanha, o número de acidentes aumentou nos últimos 3 anos, apesar de as afluências terem diminuído, o presente relatório propõe-se a estudar esses acidentes e identificar quais as variáveis que maior influencia têm sobre estes. Foram aplicadas técnicas de estatística descritiva, algumas ferramentas da qualidade e técnicas de análise multivariada com o objetivo de garantir um suporte de informação que sirva de uma base sólida para uma futura aplicação de novas medidas preventivas e de consciencialização dos colaboradores dessa necessidade. Os resultados indicam os centros e as variáveis com maior tendência para a ocorrência de acidentes e permitiram propor ações de melhoria no que diz respeito à reportagem de acidentes. Foram também elaboradas propostas de medidas preventivas em função dos resultados obtidos e das falhas detetadas.

In an increasingly demanding market, at all levels, it is in the context of Safety & Health that companies have an obligation to ensure the well-being of its employees and, in this specific case, their clients as well. It is a fact that in shopping centers managed by Sonae Sierra, in Spain, the number of accidents has increased in the last 3 years despite the inflows decrease and this report proposes to study those accidents and to identify which variables have most influence on this matter. It was applied descriptive statistics’ techniques, some quality tools and multivariate analysis’ techniques in order to guarantee sufficient information to support as a solid foundation for future application of new preventive measures and awareness among the employees. The results indicate witch centers and the variables are more prone to the accidents occurrence and allowed to propose improvement actions regarding the reporting of accidents. Were also prepared proposals for preventive measures based both on the results obtained and the faults detected.
