Liderança dos directores de turma por parte da sua coordenadora

Abstract

O presente trabalho pretendeu analisar o papel que uma Coordenadora, duma estrutura intermédia, tem na organização política e pedagógica da Escola e consequentemente na motivação dos Directores de Turma que lidera. Deste modo, a abordagem da temática da liderança foi o cerne desta dissertação. Este tema é pertinente em qualquer Escola, dado que a motivação dos agentes educativos depende muito da liderança exercida. Ao longo do trabalho, abordámos como enquadramento teórico o estado da Escola em crise e o desenvolvimento das estruturas pedagógicas intermédias.Foi realizado um trabalho empírico e a metodologia de investigação que seleccionámos foi o estudo de caso.Quanto às conclusões constatámos que para se ser líder não é preciso ter carisma ou ser-se visionário. A paixão que se coloca no que se faz e no que se diz é, talvez, o mais importante. Esta paixão é, inquestionavelmente, aquilo que faz a diferença na motivação dos Directores de Turma. Afinal, o que sobressaí na liderança é o trabalho realizado com prazer.

ABSTRACT: The present work was intended to analyse the role played by a coordinator of an intermediate structure in the school political and pedagogical organization and consequently in the class leaders' motivation. Thus, the approach of the leadership theme was the core of this dissertation. This theme is relevant in any school, once the educational agents' motivation largely depends on the leadership set upon them. Throughout (along) this work, we have approached, as a theoretical frame, the situation of a school going through a crisis, as well as the management and the intermediate pedagogical structures development.An empirical work has been carried out and the selected research methodology was the survey. As to the conclusions that can be drawn, it might be said that, to be a leader, you needn't have charisma or be a visionary. The passion in which you do and say is perhaps the most important factor. This passion is undoubtedly what makes the difference in motivacion of the directors of class.After all, what stands out in any leadership is the work done with pleasure.
