Abordagem ecopoética da obra de Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen

Abstract

A emergência do pensamento ecológico na era da pós-modernidade trouxe ao universo da crítica literária uma nova perspetiva de abordagem da natureza na literatura, levando ao surgimento de uma nova vertente – a ecocrítica. A ecocrítica propõe-se analisar o texto literário numa perspetiva ecológica, valorizando o papel da literatura na salvaguarda dos valores ambientais. Na obra de Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, a presença da natureza é transversal aos contos e poemas. A análise ecopoética do corpus selecionado evidencia na obra da autora um equilíbrio entre o mundo humano e o mundo natural, numa reinvenção das relações entre homem e natureza, reveladoras de uma consciência ética. A análise ecopoética do conto “Saga”, direcionada para o contexto escolar, atribui a o texto literário um caráter atual e intemporal, explorando novos significados que o texto oferece. No conto, a relação entre o mundo natural e a história humana, a orientação ética do texto impulsionadora de valores ecológicos e a representação da natureza enquanto processo contribuem para o desenvolvimento de uma consciência ambiental atenta a valores da contemporaneidade.

The emergence of ecological thinking in the era of post-modernity has brought to the world of literary critique a new perspective to approach nature in literature, leading to the emergence of a new dimension - the ecocriticism. The ecocriticism intends to analyze the literary text in an ecological perspective, emphasizing the role of literature in safeguarding environmental values. In the literary work of Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, the presence of nature is transverse to the stories and poems. The ecopoetic analysis of the textual corpus, selected in the work of the author, shows a balance between the human world and the natural world, a reinvention of the relationship between man and nature, revealing an ethical conscience. The ecopoetic analysis of the tale "Saga", directed to the school context, assigns to the literary text a current and timeless character, exploring new meanings that the text offers. In the tale, the link between the natural world and human history, the ethical orientation of the text drive us to ecological values and the representation of nature as a process contributes to the development of an environmental awareness attentive to contemporaneity values.
