Plano TIC para alunos do 1º ciclo com DA em língua portuguesa

Abstract

Uma sociedade em constante mudança provoca um permanente desafio ao Sistema Educativo. As novas Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) revelam-se como um dos fatores mais proeminentes dessa mudança. Desta forma, torna-se necessário implementar projetos de intervenção onde se introduzam as TIC nas abordagens didáticas, avaliando os resultados dessas mesmas intervenções. Com o presente trabalho pretendemos estudar o impacte de um plano TIC estruturado para alunos do 1.º ciclo do ensino básico com Dificuldades de Aprendizagem (DA) em Língua Portuguesa. Pretende-se aferir se este Plano contribui positivamente para a aprendizagem da linguagem oral e escrita em crianças com DA e se a utilização das TIC contribui para o aumento da motivação para a leitura e escrita de crianças com esta problemática. Este trabalho decorreu durante um ano letivo numa escola do 1.º Ciclo. Foram calendarizadas todas as fases do projeto, sendo que a primeira fase decorreu de setembro a dezembro e contemplou o diagnóstico da situação. Nesta fase foi levada a cabo a seleção dos alunos com os quais foi implementado o plano TIC. Trata-se de dois alunos com DA em Língua Portuguesa inseridos na turma da qual a investigadora era docente titular de turma. Foram realizadas reuniões com os encarregados de educação, onde foi apresentado o projeto e foram esclarecidas todas as questões. Foi ainda formalmente solicitada autorização à direção do agrupamento de escolas para efetuar a intervenção. De janeiro a maio foi levada a cabo a intervenção propriamente dita. Esta compreendeu atividades de leitura e escrita, principalmente através da exploração de sítios gratuitos da Internet e de software específico de Língua Portuguesa. Os alunos desenvolveram ainda atividades de pesquisa de informação na Internet e utilizaram o Microsoft Word. A terceira e última fase decorreu no mês de junho, altura na qual se procedeu à avaliação do presente Plano TIC. Os resultados obtidos com esta intervenção mostram de forma clara que os alunos com DA na área de Língua Portuguesa beneficiam da utilização das TIC e, simultaneamente aumentam a sua motivação para o estudo.

A society in constant change causes a permanent challenge to the education system. The new Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have emerged as one of the most prominent factors in this change. Therefore, it is necessary to implement intervention projects where they introduce ICT in teaching approaches, evaluating the results of those interventions. With this work we intend to study the impact of an ICT plan structured for primary school students with Learning Disabilities (DA) in Portuguese. It is intended to assess whether this plan contributes positively to the learning of oral and written language in children with AD and the use of ICT helps to increase motivation for reading and writing of children with this problem. This work took place during a school year in a primary school. They were all scheduled phases of the project, and the first phase ran from September to December and included the diagnosis of the situation. This phase was carried out the selection of students with which the plan was implemented ICT. These are two students with AD in the Portuguese language inserted in the class from which the researcher was the teacher's holding class. Meetings were held by the Guardian, where he was presented the project and all issues were resolved. Being formally requested permission from the Directorate of the Group of Schools to carry out the intervention. From January to May was taken out the intervention itself. This consisted of reading and writing activities, mainly through the exploitation of free Internet sites and specific software in Portuguese. Students also develop research activities and information on the Internet using Microsoft Word. The third and final phase took place in June, at which time the assessment was undertaken of this plan ICT. The results obtained with this intervention clearly show that students with AD in the Portuguese language benefit from the use of ICT and, simultaneously, increase their motivation to study.
