O impacto do ensino articulado para piano no ensino especializado

Abstract

Com este projeto pretende-se estudar qual o impacto que o ensino articulado causa na aprendizagem do piano. Após dez anos de introdução deste tipo de ensino, é importante analisar se de facto o ensino articulado causará algum tipo de pressão ao nível cognitivo, psicológico e social. Atualmente, assiste-se à democratização do ensino da música e à comparticipação integral por parte do Estado para que a aprendizagem de um instrumento se inicie aos dez anos de idade. Questiona-se se esta será a idade mais apropriada para iniciar a aprendizagem do piano, ou se a iniciação musical poderá ser ou não, determinante no processo de formação do aluno. Recorre-se a diversas metodologias - observação direta, questionários e entrevistas, e os dados recolhidos, que espelham o estudo do ensino de piano, no ensino articulado e supletivo em Portugal.

This project aims to study what the impact of articulated teaching on piano learning is. After ten years of introducing this type of teaching, it is important to consider whether in fact the articulated teaching causes some kind of pressure at the cognitive, psychological or social level. Currently, we are witnessing the democratization of music teaching and the full contribution by the State so that the learning of a musical instrument can begin at ten years of age. It is questionable if this is the proper age to begin to learn the piano, or if musical initiation will or will not be, determinant in the process of student education. Diverse methodologies were used – direct observation, questionnaires and interviews, and collected data – which reflect the study of piano teaching, in the articulated and supplementary education in Portugal.
