The problem of invisibility for bodies with a mirror surface is studied in the framework of geometrical optics. A closely related problem concerning the existence of bodies that have zero aerodynamical resistance is also studied here. We construct bodies that are invisible/have zero resistance in two directions, and prove that bodies which are invisible/have zero resistance do not exist in all possible directions of incidence. © 2011 IOP Publishing Ltd & London Mathematical Society.pt
