Comportamentos linguísticos de luso-descendentes na Venezuela

Abstract

Nesta dissertação pretendemos saber como se processa a aprendizagem da Língua Portuguesa em Luso-descendentes, não só nas representações da Língua Portuguesa, mas também verificar quais são os desvios da normatividade morfológica, sintáctica e lexical que se fazem sentir na linguagem escrita dos LD, verificando se têm consciência Metalinguística. Abordámos conceitos que se revelaram importantes para a justificação teórica, tais como: Bilinguismo, Língua Materna, Língua Estrangeira, Alternância de códigos, Competências Metalinguística e Plurilingue, Língua, Análise de Erros, Análise Contrastiva, Interlíngua e Consciência Metalinguítica. No ano lectivo de 2005/2006 realizámos um estudo etnográfico na Fundacion Cultural Luso Venezolana “Camões”, na Venezuela, local onde recolhemos os dados para este estudo. Analisámos os dados obtidos através de inquéritos e de uma produção escrita realizados por alunos dos três níveis de ensino, fazendo o cruazamento dos dois corpora. Constatámos que os alunos gostam da LP e que de várias formas se mantêm em contacto com esta língua. Porém as suas dificuldades acentuam-se principalmente ao nível da ortografia nos três níveis de aprendizagem, seguindo-se os desvios linguísticos observados nas áreas da sintaxe e da morfo-sintaxe, revelando o nível básico maiores dificuldades. Verificámos também que estas dificuldades são corroboradas pelos alunos, demonstrando ter consciência metalinguística.

In this dissertation we want to know how the Luso- Descendents`study realizes in Portuguese apprenticeship, not only in their Portuguese representations, but also we want to see what are the morphologic, syntactic and lexical errors that they feel in the writing, and if they have Metalinguistic Conscience. We talked about concepts that it seemed important for the theorical justification, such as: Bilinguism, Switching Codes, Metalinguístic Awareness, Error Análise ,Interlínguage and.metalinguística and plurilinguistic competences. In the 2005/2006 academic year, we did an ethnographic study in a Portuguese school in Venezuela, where we gathered what we needed for this study. We analysed the data obtained from the questionnaires and we examined the written productions by the participants of the three different levels, crossing the two corpora. And finally we observed that the students like learning Portuguese and they keep on touch with Portugal. However, all the levels have difficulties in the orthography. Then the higher numbers of errors were observed in the syntax and morpho-sintax areas, revealing the basic level more difficulties. The students corroborated their own problems; this demonstrates they have Metalinguistic Awareness.
