dc.description.abstract | We use a lemma due to Fiedler to obtain eigenspaces of some graphs and apply these results to graph energy (= the sum of absolute values of the graph eigenvalues = the sum of singular values of the adjacency matrix). We obtain some new upper and lower bounds for graph energy and find new examples of graphs whose energy exceeds the number of vertices. | pt |
