Literatura infantil chinesa: uma proposta de tradução e análise

Abstract

Esta dissertação de mestrado consiste numa proposta de tradução de chinês para português de um conjunto de textos. O corpus selecionado para esta tradução é a coleção de textos Luar sobre a lagoa de lótus, de Zhu Ziqing, um ensaísta chinês moderno. Selecionei quatro textos conhecidos deste livro para serem traduzidos para o português. Este projeto pretende divulgar a literatura infantil chinesa no contexto português, contribuir para o seu mais abrangente conhecimento em Portugal e aumentar a compreensão das crianças portuguesas sobre a cultura chinesa. No século XXI, com a implementação da iniciativa chinesa "Uma faixa, Uma Rota" e o estabelecimento de relações diplomáticas entre a China e Portugal há mais de 40 anos, a cooperação entre a China e Portugal em vários campos está em pleno andamento, e os portugueses estão mais familiarizados com a cultura chinesa. No entanto, ainda há muito espaço para a tradução e pesquisa sobre a literatura infantil chinesa no contexto português, e nesta dissertação também se reflete sobre a forma como a literatura infantil chinesa pode contribuir para a comunicação intercultural.

The translation text selected for this master's thesis is Moonlight over the Lotus Pond by the Chinese modern essayist Zhu Ziqing. Four well-known short stories from the collection of prose Moonlight over the Lotus Pond were selected and translated into Portuguese. So far, Zhu Ziqing's short stories have not been translated into Portuguese, so this dissertation aims to disseminate Chinese children's literature in the Portuguese context, and enhance Portuguese children's understanding of Chinese culture. In the 21st Century, with the implementation of "The Belt and Road" initiative and the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Portugal for more than 40 years, the cooperation between China and Portugal has been comprehensively carried out in various fields, so the Portuguese have already a better understanding of the Chinese culture. Nevertheless, there is still much room for translation and research of Chinese children's literature in the Portuguese context. This study also sheds light on how Chinese children's literature can promote cross-cultural communication.
