Estudo de expressões idiomáticas no âmbito do ensino de português na China

Abstract

As expressões idiomáticas desempenham um papel importante na comunicação intercultural, pois não só transmitem os conhecimentos linguísticos, como também revelam os valores culturais fundamentais duma comunidade linguística, constituindo uma componente importante e indispensável da matéria do ensino e aprendizagem de uma língua estrangeira para desenvolver as competências da comunicação intercultural dos falantes fora da comunidade linguística. No entanto, no ensino de Português Língua Estrangeira na China, as expressões idiomáticas não são devidamente valorizadas tanto por docentes como por discentes. A presente dissertação analisa as principais dificuldades dos alunos chineses em relação ao uso e à compreensão das expressões idiomáticas portuguesas e propõe algumas soluções concretas para o seu ensino e aprendizagem nos cursos de Português Língua Estrangeira na China, de modo a dar uma pequena contribuição para a melhoria das competências dos aprendentes chineses na comunicação intercultural entre o mundo chinês e o mundo português.

Idiomatic expressions play an important role in intercultural communication, as they not only transmit linguistic knowledge, but also reveal the fundamental cultural values of a linguistic community, constituting an important and indispensable component of the subject of teaching and learning a foreign language to develop the intercultural communication skills of speakers outside the linguistic community. However, in the teaching of Portuguese as a Foreign Language in China, idiomatic expressions are not properly valued by both teachers and students. This dissertation analyzes the main difficulties of Chinese students in relation to the use and understanding of Portuguese idiomatic expressions and proposes some concrete solutions for their teaching and learning in Portuguese as a Foreign Language courses in China, in order to make a small contribution to the improvement of Chinese learners' skills in intercultural communication between the Chinese world and the Portuguese world.
