Estudo comparativo da formação de palavras em chinês e português

Abstract

A aprendizagem do português e do chinês é marcada por dificuldades, não só a nível estrutural, mas também lexical, devido à pertença a sistemas linguísticos distintos. Nesse sentido, pretende-se com o presente estudo efetuar uma apresentação comparativa dos três principais métodos de formação de palavras compartilhados pelas duas línguas (derivação, composição e formação não concatenativa), de modo a proporcionar uma maior compreensão das duas línguas e, indiretamente, facilitar o próprio processo de aprendizagem. Em contraste com o chinês, a estrutura derivacional é uma abordagem muito importante no vocabulário português. A estrutura composta é um método importante de formação de palavras em ambos os idiomas, não obstante o maior grau de flexibilidade revelado no chinês. Além disso, com o desenvolvimento da economia mundial e o processo de globalização, importa analisar a influência das línguas sobre as outras.

The learning of Portuguese and Chinese is marked by difficulties, not only at structural but also at lexical level, due to the fact that they belong to different linguistic systems. In this sense, the present study aims at conducting a comparative overview of the three main methods of word formation shared by both languages (derivation, composition and non-concatenative formation), in order to provide a better understanding of both languages and, indirectly, to facilitate the learning process itself. In contrast to Chinese, derivational structure is a very important approach in Portuguese vocabulary. Compound structure is an important method of word formation in both Chinese and Portuguese. Compound words are more flexible in Chinese than in Portuguese. With the development of the world economy and the process of globalization, the influence of languages on each other has become greater, therefore it’s relevant to address that issue.
