Abstract: | O uso de novas tecnologias no processo de ensino e
natureza mista, enquadrada no paradigma sociocrítico, e
aprendizagem na investigação com os docentes. use of new technologies in the teaching and learning process, as in the case of devices with the use of Augmented Reality (AR), captures both student and teacher's attention, creating the expectation that its use can provide the participants with new ways of interacting, new possibilities for collaboration and potentially an increase in motivation for learning. This research promoted the use of AR through several prototypes created by the researcher/teacher. The study aimed to identify, explore and evaluate pedagogical strategies in order to integrate AR in the teaching and learning process; to evaluate the impact of the use of AR on students' motivation and concentration and to define a set of guidelines for the integration of this technology. Given its relevance and in view of the above, the present study aims to determine which pedagogical strategies are the most appropriate for the integration of AR in the process of teaching and learning and what impacts on students' concentration and motivation. To achieve these objectives, a mixed-nature investigation was developed, framed in the sociocritical paradigm, and action-research was the methodological approach. Prototypes were developed and applied in teaching and learning contexts in different classes of the 3rd cycle of studies, involving a total of 62 students. The results of the study allowed us to verify that the students were very interested in the possibility of interacting with the AR with the syllabus contents and that the use of prototypes added greater motivation to solve the tasks proposed by the teacher. However, it was found that technology, when excessively present, can be a factor of some distraction. A set of good practices for the adoption of AR in teaching and learning contexts were also identified by the teachers. |
