Uma experiência de estágio na Porto Editora

Abstract

O presente relatório propõe analisar as atividades editoriais desenvolvidas durante o estágio na Porto Editora a partir da ótica de uma estudante estrangeira e dos desafios encontrados por este motivo. Caracteriza brevemente os mercados editoriais português e brasileiro e, em seguida, percorre as diferentes etapas da produção editorial até à publicação do livro, exemplificando cada uma delas a partir da experiência prática.

The present paper intends to analyze the publishing activities developed during the internship at Porto Editora through the perspective of a foreign student, with all the challenges that this condition involves. This purpose is to be achieved firstly by a brief characterization of the Portuguese and Brazilian publishing industries and, thereafter, by a report which covers the different stages of the process of book publishing and illustrates them with specific cases dealt with throughout the internship.
