Imagem da China em dois jornais portugueses (2019)

Abstract

Esta dissertação, realizada no âmbito do Mestrado em Português Língua Estrangeira/Língua Segunda, da Universidade de Aveiro, propõe-se analisar a imagem da China em jornais portugueses. Foram selecionados textos jornalísticos de 2019 em dois dos jornais generalistas mais representativos e influentes em Portugal – o Público e o Jornal de Notícias. O presente trabalho pretende identificar a imagem da China nos jornais portugueses, esclarecer os estereótipos e os mal-entendidos, bem como esclarecer uma imagem mais objetiva, justa e completa, através do estudo de um corpus de notícias selecionadas. Estabelecido o Corpus de notícias sobre a China nos dois jornais selecionados e servindo-nos do software MAXQDA, faremos análises quantitativas e qualitativas das amostras, utilizando teorias interdisciplinares de Jornalismo, Análise de Quadros e Análise Crítica do Discurso.

This dissertation, carried out within the scope of the Master’s Courses in Portuguese as a Foreign Language / Second Language, University of Aveiro, proposes to analyze the image of China in Portuguese newspapers. They were selected journalistic texts from two of the most representative and influential generalist newspapers in Portugal- The Público and the Jornal de Notícias. The present work aims to identify the image of China in Portuguese newspapers, clarify stereotypes and misunderstandings, as well as clarify a more objective, fair and complete image, through the Corpus study of selected news. Established the Corpus of news about China in the two selected newspapers, using the MAXQDA software, we will make quantitative and qualitative analyzes of the samples, using interdisciplinary theories of Journalism, Frame Analysis and Critical Analysis of Discourse.
