Temas de geometria nos ensinos básico e secundário

Abstract

Neste trabalho são estudadas as construções geométricas com régua não graduada e compasso abordadas na disciplina de Educação Visual do 3.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. São, também, estudados os números construtíveis e os três problemas clássicos da antiguidade. Faz-se, ainda, uma incursão pelas construções em origami – é introduzido um conjunto de “axiomas”, formulados por Humiaki Huzita, os quais permitem a realização de construções geométricas através de dobragens em papel. São apresentados e resolvidos com construções origami problemas elementares, incluindo alguns que não podem ser resolvidos com régua não graduada e compasso: os problemas clássicos da trissecção do ângulo e da duplicação do cubo.

ABSTRACT: This work is about the geometric constructions with straightedge and compass studied in the subject of Visual Education of the 3rd Cycle of the Basic Teaching. It is also about the constructible numbers and the three classic problems of the antiquity. It is also made an incursion through the origami constructions - a group of "axioms" is introduced, formulated by Humiaki Huzita, which allows the accomplishment of geometric constructions through folding in paper. Elementary problems are presented and solved with origami constructions, including some that cannot be solved with the help of straightedge and compass: the classic problems of the trisection of the angle and the duplication of the cube.
