Traquitanas cênicas, saberes teatrais e artes de pesca: a decolonização do cenotécnico no Teatro Cacuri

Abstract

Este trabalho evidencia os resultados de uma investigação teórica e empírica que articula os saberes embutidos nas artes de pesca, confeccionadas por pescadores e pescadoras pobres do Norte do Brasil e Centro-Sul de Portugal, com os Estudos Teatrais, especialmente do campo da cenografia e cenotécnica, tendo como base teórica os Estudos Culturais e a perspectiva Decolonial. O objetivo reside em criar o projeto de cinco traquitanas cênicas para habitar o projeto Teatro Cacuri, de modo a contribuir para o processo de decolonização do cenotécnico. No que se refere a metodologia, esta investigação está assentada no paradigma qualitativo e quanto a natureza, caracteriza-se como aplicada. O percurso metodológico utilizou diversos métodos para a coleta e análise de dados. Os instrumentos de recolha de dados foram a observação participante e a entrevista semiestruturada realizada com os praticantes e ex-praticantes de dez modalidades de pesca artesanal e de subsistência. Em seguida os dados foram tratados à luz da análise de conteúdo. A análise dos dados resultou na criação de cinco traquitanas cênicas intituladas de rotunda brechada, coxia galricho, rocega cênica, cabrita de luz e pari articulável, alcançadas a partir da transposição das potencialidades cênicas das artes de pesca para o campo da cenografia e cenotécnica amazônica, as quais se mostraram como dispositivos capazes de disparar a territorialização do cenotécnico no projeto Teatro Cacuri. A investigação constatou que os saberes embutidos nas artes de pesca, articulados com os saberes artísticos, sob uma abordagem interdisciplinar, podem favorecer a formulação de novos saberes artísticos, acadêmicos, científicos e contribuir para a decolonização dos seres e seus saberes.

This thesis is the result of a theoretical and empirical investigation that articulates the knowledge embedded in the fishing gear made by poor fishermen and fisherwomen from the North of Brazil and Center-South of Portugal, with the Theatrical Studies, especially the field of scenography and scenic technic, having as theoretical base the Cultural Studies and the Decolonial perspective. The objective is to project five scenic rigging to be used at the Cacuri Theatre project, in order to contribute to the process of decolonization of the scenic technic. In terms of methodology, this research is based on the qualitative paradigm and is an applied science type. The methodological approach used a diversity of methods for data collection and analysis. The instruments of data collection were participant observation and semi-structured interview with practitioners and former practitioners of ten types of artisanal and subsistence fishing. Then the data were treated by the lens of the content analysis. Data analysis resulted in the creation of five scenic rigging entitled as rotunda brechada, coxia galricho, rocega cênica, cabrita de luz and pari articulável from the transposition of the scenic potentialities of the fishing gear to the field of Amazonian scenography and scenic technic, which were devices capable of triggering the territorialization of the scenic technician in the Cacuri Theatre project. This research found that the knowledge embedded in the fishing gear, articulated with the artistic knowledge, under an interdisciplinary approach, can favor the formulation of new artistic, academic, scientific knowledge and contribute to the decolonization of beings and their knowledge.
