Análise da distribuição e requisitos ecológicos de Arabis sadina no Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros

Abstract

É urgente e determinante proteger todas as espécies. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo principal obter um conhecimento mais alargado sobre a espécie Arabis sadina, uma espécie endémica do Parque natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros, relativamente à sua distribuição geográfica no Sítio de Importância Comunitária Serras de Aire e Candeeiros e os fatores ecológicos que influenciam a sua distribuição; bem como comparar a espécie Arabis sadina com a espécie Arabis planisiliqua, relativamente às suas características biológicas e requisitos ecológicos. Foram georreferenciados 160 pontos, a espécie Arabis sadina foi observada em 42 locais e a espécie Arabis planisiliqua em 54. Foi elaborado um mapa de distribuição das espécies. Não foi possível retirar conclusões relacionadas com os requisitos ecológicos da espécie Arabis sadina, apenas relativamente às preferências ecológicas da espécie Arabis planisiliqua. Esta prefere locais próximos de pontos de água, onde ocorrem maiores ameaças ao seu habitat, menor stress hídrico e/ou com altitudes relativamente baixas.

It is urgent and crucial to protect all species. The main objective of this work was to obtain a broader knowledge about the species Arabis sadina, an endemic species of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, regarding its geographical distribution in the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Community Importance Site and the ecological factors that influence its distribution; as well as to compare Arabis sadina species with Arabis planisiliqua species, regarding their biological characteristics and ecological requirements. 160 points were georeferenced, the Arabis sadina species was observed in 42 locations and the Arabis planisiliqua species in 54. A species distribution map was prepared. It was not possible to draw conclusions related to the ecological requirements of Arabis sadina species, only regarding the ecological preferences of Arabis planisiliqua species. It prefers places near water points where there are greater threats to its habitat, lower water stress and / or relatively low altitudes.
