Ecoludens: novos paradigmas para a educação ambiental

Abstract

A Educação Ambiental não é um tema recente, mas continua muito atual. Com mudanças de paradigma na Educação Ambiental, talvez se consiga obter melhores resultados. Através da integração do elemento lúdico (jogo) ensino dos conceitos-chave da Educação Ambiental, dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável, por um lado, e da utilização da Teoria das Inteligências Múltiplas e da Ecologia Integral, por outro, foi criado um jogo (ECOLudens) que visa o aumento da Consciência Ambiental e da Comunicação Interpessoal. Recorrendo a estas ferramentas, o jogo torna-se amplamente inclusivo, permitindo que os jogadores se sintam à vontade em pelo menos uma categoria. É um jogo não-virtual para combater o excesso de virtualidade observado atualmente nas novas gerações. Este tipo de abordagem, que introduz novos paradigmas, pode ser o futuro da Educação Ambiental.

Environmental Education is not a new subject, but it is still very accurate. By changing Environmental Education’s paradigms, maybe the results can be improved. Through the integration of playfulness in teaching the key-concepts of Environmental Education and the Sustainable Development Goals on one side, and the introduction of the Theory of Multiple Intelligences and Integral Ecology on the other side, a game was created (ECOLudens), that aims at increasing Environmental Awareness and Interpersonal Comunication. Using these tools, the game becomes highly inclusive as every player will feel at ease in at least one of the categories. It is not a virtual game in order to oppose the excess of virtuality seen widely spread nowadays within the new generations. This approach can be the future of Environmental Education.
