Environmental Education is not a new subject, but it is still very accurate. By changing Environmental Education’s paradigms, maybe the results can be improved. Through the integration of playfulness in teaching the key-concepts of Environmental Education and the Sustainable Development Goals on one side, and the introduction of the Theory of Multiple Intelligences and Integral Ecology on the other side, a game was created (ECOLudens), that aims at increasing Environmental Awareness and Interpersonal Comunication. Using these tools, the game becomes highly inclusive as every player will feel at ease in at least one of the categories. It is not a virtual game in order to oppose the excess of virtuality seen widely spread nowadays within the new generations. This approach can be the future of Environmental Education. |
