A cultura chinesa na obra A China fica ao lado

Abstract

O presente trabalho propõe-se estudar a cultura chinesa nos contos de Maria Ondina Braga, A China Fica ao Lado. A autora apresenta-nos as vidas e pensamentos naquela época em Macau, onde convivem as culturas ocidentais e chinesas, onde se encontram os pensamentos tradicionais velhos e as mentes das mulheres novas. Com as colisões das culturas e dos pensamentos, a cultura chinesa foi mudando. E as mulheres tristes percorreram um caminho livre e aberto para as gerações descendentes. As análises destes contos ajudam a conhecer melhor as vidas das pessoas e a sociedade de Macau.

The present work proposes to study the Chinese culture of the short stories of Maria Ondina Braga, A China Fica ao Lado. Through the eyes of the author, she presents us with the lives and thoughts of Macau at that time, where Western and Chinese cultures coexist, where old traditional thoughts and the minds of young women meet. With the collisions of cultures and thoughts, Chinese culture was failing. And the sad women paved a free and open path forthe descendant generations, with blood and tears. The analysis of these stories helps to know better the lives of the people and the society of Macao.
