A música contemporânea portuguesa para guitarra de 1983 a 2008

Abstract

A música portuguesa contemporânea para guitarra solo do quartel de 1983 a 2008 tem aqui o seu primeiro período aureo. Toda esta obra será investigada, analisada e, divulgada, através da sua apresentação histórica cronológica e das características próprias do estilo de cada peça e grupo de peças, seguidas da sua aproximação às várias correntes pós-modernistas, e precedida por um enquadramento onde a interpretação na contemporaneidade será analisada com base em teorias da interpretação musical e reflexões fundamentadas em textos de filosofia da música e de análise literária. Aspetos como: A notação comparativa, já convencionada ou não, entre as obras portuguesas e estrangeiras de relevância; Novos problemas idiomáticos da escrita e da técnica; A execução e a interpretação; serão investigados e apresentados com relevante interesse para guitarristas e compositores, como se pode verificar na análise aos questionários realizados aos primeiros. As entrevistas, obrigatórias, realizadas aos segundos servem de base para toda a análise que se segue à apresentação das obras mais representativas da original ‘vanguarda’ portuguesa. Teremos, ainda, um DVD em anexo que ilustrará auditiva e visualmente, entre outros, os principais efeitos e técnicas de execução das sete obras portuguesas de referência mais trabalhadas durante a tese.

The Portuguese contemporary music for guitar solo written between 1983 and 2008 has got in this period his first golden age. All the work would be investigated, analyzed and divulgated, through its historical chronologic presentation and its own style and through its individual and group characteristics, followed by the approach to the several post-modernist currents, preceded by a theoretical framework where the interpretation in contemporaneity will be analyzed based on interpretative musical theories and substantiated reflections on musical philosophy and literary analysis texts. Aspects such as: comparative musical notations, already or not yet agreed, between Portuguese and foreign relevant pieces; new idiomatic problems of writing and technic; execution and interpretation; will be investigated and presented with relevant interest for guitarists and composers, verifiable on the analysis of the questionnaire realized to the first ones. The binding interviews, realized with Portuguese composers are the base for all the analysis that follows the presentation of the most representative pieces of the original Portuguese ‘avant-garde’. We will have, annexed, a DVD that will show, among others, the principal effects and execution technics from the seven Portuguese reference pieces with major exposition in the thesis.
