Ecodesign para espaços lúdicos infantis : projeto de módulos multifuncionais com polímeros recicláveis

Abstract

O projeto está integrado no âmbito do Ecodesign e pretende contribuir para o espaço exterior com um conjunto de equipamentos de jogo e de recreio para crianças. Foi realizado um estudo sobre Ecodesign, de seguida uma análise e comparação de polímeros virgens e reciclados, de forma a entender se existe muita baixa de qualidade entre ABS virgem e ABS reciclado. Foi também examinada a importância do mobiliário para as crianças aliada à ergonomia e ao espaço exterior, tendo em conta os riscos que, hoje em dia, podem existir ao brincar no exterior e considerando as normas existentes para os evitar. Fez-se, ainda, um levantamento de trinta parques infantis, a fim de perceber como são construídos, que materiais são utilizados e como são adaptados às crianças. Posto isto, o projeto a ser desenvolvido consiste num conjunto de bancos de jardim, moldáveis ou adaptáveis, onde as crianças podem criar e adaptar o local às suas necessidades, podendo brincar, jogar, descansar e conviver com outros meninos no exterior. Com esses bancos as crianças poderão construir o seu espaço e reinventar outras construções com a sua imaginação. Este projeto pretende associar o mobiliário sustentável e ecológico com a atividade de brincar, desse modo, contribuir para o seu bom desenvolvimento físico, motor e mental das crianças. Trata-se, por conseguinte de proporcionar um espaço acolhedor e divertido que elas mesmas criem, apelando também à atividade conjunta, ou seja, ao desenvolvimento de amizades e de convivência com outras pessoas, para além dos intervenientes no seio familiar, escolar e afetivo.

This project is integrated on the theme of Eco-design and it is meant to be part of exterior spaces with a set of playground equipment for kids. First, there was a study made about Eco-design, then an analysis and comparison of virgin and recycled polymers, to understand if there was a big difference in the quality of virgin ABS and recycled ABS. It was also taken at account the importance of the furniture to the kids allied to its ergonomy, the fact that the equipment is for exterior spaces, and that, nowadays, there are a whole lot of ricks when kids play outside and also a lot of safety norms to prevent accidents. Adding to that, a whole of 30 playgrounds were analyzed to understand how they are built, witch materials are used and how they are going to be used. Therefore, the project being developed consists in a set of garden benches, adjustable to the needs of children at every age and height; so that they can enjoy the playground to the fullest, despite their differences. With these benches they can also create their own personalized space and use their imagination to build it. Finally, this project has the goal of combining sustainable and ecologic outdoor furniture with children activities, that will help with their physical and mental health. Hence, this project will provide a pleasant and fun space built by them. It is also supposed to appeal to the communication and enhance friendships and group activities besides family members and school friends.
