Divulgação da cultura aveirense através da ilustração

Abstract

Este trabalho de dissertação propõe um estudo teórico-prático acerca da “Divulgação da Cultura Aveirense através da Ilustração”. O seu propósito será perceber, em termos metodológicos, qual o alcance do Desenho e, em particular, da Ilustração na tradução das lendas e costumes da cidade de Aveiro. Considerando o Desenho como um fator favorável à investigação na identificação e interpretação de aspetos sociais e culturais que estão na origem do reconhecimento de valores individuais e particularmente dos mais novos. Ao ter como público-alvo as crianças, considera-se a Ilustração como a disciplina capaz de perceber qual a linguagem visual que melhor comunicará as histórias da cidade de modo a que as crianças conquistem conhecimento acerca daquilo que as envolve e desse modo conheçam melhor o mundo que as rodeia. Metodologicamente trata-se de um estudo teórico- prático. Do ponto de vista teórico considera-se a ilustração a partir de fatores semelhantes e dissemelhantes em relação ao Desenho, prosseguindo a sua contextualização no âmbito infantil. À pesquisa teórica está agregado um projeto prático de nome Histórias de Aveiro. Dele fazem parte três ilustrações infantis acerca de três lendas da cidade de Aveiro: Lenda de Santa Joana Princesa, Lenda do Moliceiro e Lenda de S. Gonçalinho, bem como um packaging para o mesmo.

This dissertation proposes a theoretical-practical study about the "Dissemination of the Aveirense Culture through Illustration". Its purpose will be to understand, in methodological terms, the scope of the Drawing and, in particular, Illustration in the divulgation of the legends and customs of the city of Aveiro. Considering the Design as a favorable factor to the investigation in the identification and interpretation of social and cultural aspects that are in the origin of the recognition of individual values and particularly of the young ones. By targeting children, Illustration is considered as the discipline capable of perceiving which visual language better communicates the stories of the city so that children gain knowledge about what surrounds them and thereby better understand the world around them. Methodologically, this is a theoretical-practical study. From the theoretical point of view, it is considered the illustration from similar and dissimilar factors in relation to the Design, continuing its contextualization in the infantile scope. To the theoretical research is added a practical project named Stories of Aveiro. Three children's illustrations of three legends from the city of Aveiro include: Legend of Santa Joana Princesa, Legend of Moliceiro and Legend of S. Gonçalinho, as well as a packaging for them.
