Características de materiais e elementos do edificado antigo: caso de estudo - Casa Inovadomus

Abstract

A presente dissertação resulta da importância nos dias de hoje de restaurar e conservar o património edificado antigo. Este património é representado por revestimentos tradicionais à base de cal aérea, coberturas em estrutura de madeira e paredes tradicionais que difere da zona geográfica, dependendo dos materiais mais abundantes e por isso obtidos de modo mais económico nessa região. Muitas vezes optam-se por estratégias de intervenção desajustadas e pouco eficazes face aos materiais de origem sendo que a médio ou longo prazo, acabam por comprometer o desempenho a nível estrutural e a nível de revestimentos, devido às incompatibilidades dos mesmos. Por este motivo devem ser estudadas e analisadas as soluções a adotar na reabilitação do património edificado antigo. Deve existir compatibilidade química, física e mecânica com o material pré-existente, estas características são fundamentais e sendo garantidas permitem diminuir os efeitos de degradação de forma eficaz e durável quando se procede a uma intervenção. Na fase inicial é fundamental avaliar o estado de conservação do edificado e respetivos revestimentos e da parede de suporte. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo a apresentação de algumas propostas para a reabilitação da cobertura da InovaDomus em conjunto com empresas colaboradoras neste projeto de reabilitação. Também incide na análise de alguns dos revestimentos das paredes e tetos da moradia em estudo, para um estudo dos minerais, constituintes contidos nas amostras recolhidas, assim sendo poderá proceder-se à escolha posterior dos melhores materiais e das melhores soluções para a reabilitação deste edificado

The present work results from the importance of restoring and conserving the old built heritage. This heritage is represented by traditional coatings based on aerial whitewash, roofs in wood structure and traditional walls that differs from the geographical area, depending on the most abundant materials and therefore obtained in a more economic way in this region. Often, there is an opt for inappropriate and ineffective intervention strategies in relation to the source materials, and in the medium or long term they end up compromising the structural and coatings performance due to their incompatibility. For this reason the solutions to be adopted in the rehabilitation of the old built heritage must be studied and analyzed. There must be chemical, physical and mechanical compatibility with the pre-existing material, these characteristics are fundamental that being guaranteed can reduce the effects of degradation in an effective and durable when making an intervention. In a first phase it is essential to evaluate the state of conservation of the building and its coatings and the support walls. The present work has the objective of presenting some proposals for the rehabilitation of InovaDomus coverage together with collaborating companies in this rehabilitation project. It also focuses on the analysis of some of the coatings on the walls and ceilings of the dwelling under study, for a study of the minerals, constituents contained in the samples collected, so that the best materials and the best solutions for the rehabilitation of this building
