Sistema de armazenagem autoportante em perfis enformados a frio

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objectivo determinar a possibilidade da realização de um edifício autoportante a partir de elementos usados como estruturas de armazenamento denominados como bastidores, abordando as condicionantes envolventes ao dimensionamento de perfis enformados a frio normalmente usados na construção destas estruturas. Em específico, serão abordados temas como a área efectiva de secções de classe 4 e a influência da furação na capacidade resistente do perfil. E ainda determinar e contabilizar a influência das ligações entre os elementos no desempenho estrutural global do edifício.

ABSTRACT: The present paper have as objective settle on the possibility of construction of an self-supporting warehouse using the parts of storage pallet racks, focusing on the design issues of cold-formed steel frames normally used on this kind of structures. Specifically, it will be analysed the local buckling of class 4 parts and the influence of openings in the resistance of the cross section. Also analyse the performance of the connections between the different elements on the global behaviour of the structure.
