Gestão de materiais na Edaetech

Abstract

Atualmente a competitividade e a diferenciação estão patentes nos objetivos de qualquer empresa que se queira destacar no mercado. Assim, sobressai um conjunto de competências fundamentais do sucesso neste enquadramento. A gestão de stocks corresponde a uma dessas competências, que quando otimizada cria valor em todo o processo da cadeia de abastecimento. O projeto aqui apresentado foi desenvolvido na empresa Edaetech, industria de conceção e desenvolvimento de protótipos para a industria metalomecânica. Tem como objetivo, a melhoria da situação existente ao que se refere à gestão de stocks. É de realçar que a gestão de stocks está interligada com todo o processo produtivo. Ao longo do presente documento, são divulgadas as principais lacunas que a empresa manifesta a nível de gestão de stocks. São apresentadas análises que caracterizam a situação em estudo e apontam caminhos para a sua melhoria. O papel da gestão de armazéns, do fluxo de informação e da rastreabilidade do material destacam-se na concretização dos objetivos. Para além disso, realça-se a importância do envolvimento da organização na melhoria desejada. No presente documento serão apresentados os principais resultados face aos objetivos propostos, tais como, a definição de níveis de encomenda, stocks máximos, melhoria da identificação de áreas de armazenamento, reestruturação do layout dos armazéns, ações de sensibilização e por fim a implementação do sistema de inventário permanente.

Currently the competitiveness and differentiation are reflected in the goals of any company that wants to stand in the market. In this way, there is a set of skills fundamental intrinsic to this exponential growth. The management of stocks shall correspond to one of these competencies, that when optimized creates value in the whole process of the supply chain. The project presented was developed in the company Edaetech, industry of creation, design and development of prototypes of the metal-mechanical industry. Its objective is to study the importance of stock management and the negative impact it has on any industry when not optimized. Throughout this document, are presented the main gaps which the company considers the level of stocks. Are presented analyzes that have contributed to the characterization of the state of art of company, and later to the definition of parameters and procedures to optimize the stocks. The role of warehouse management, information flow and material traceability stand out in achieving the objectives. In addition, the importance of involving the organization in the desired improvement is emphasized. This document will present the main results against the proposed objectives, such as the definition of order levels, maximum stocks, improvement of the identification of storage areas, restructuring of the warehouse layout, awareness raising actions and, finally, the implementation of the permanent inventory system.
