Nomeadamente
No entanto, o estágio no
This report resumes all the work done at the internship started on February 21st, 2017, and nished on June 13th, 2017, in the Porcelanas Costa Verde company. This internship is inserted in the curricular unit Disserta- ção/Projeto/Estágio, belonging to the second semester of the last year of the Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering of the University of Aveiro, Portugal. All the activities made in the internship were followed by the Costa Verde industrial director, Eng. Francisco Proença, by the maintenance team, specially by Mr. Telmo Pereira, and also by de IDI team (investigation, development and innovation). The internship was essentially focused in the monitoring and participation in the activities of project and construction of a cup wings glue machine, manipulated by a robot. For the construction were reused some of the components of other two old machines. In this old machines the gluing process is exactly the same, the main di erence is that the manipulator isn't a robot. Therefore the new machine is an evolution for a robotic system. The project and construction of the machine were made in partnership with the Bresimar Automação company. The components reused were: the gluing stations, ceramic slip valves (COAX), air and water valves , pneumatic cylinders and ceramic slip multiplier systems (diaphragms). My participation started with the understanding of the operation of the machine, and execution of the alimentation circuits (compressed air, water and ceramic slip circuits). After that it was made the separation, cleaning, reparation and assembly of the necessary components for the operation of the gluing stations. Although the Bresimar Automação company is responsible for the execution of the PLC's program, it was decided to carry out an alternative program with some simpli cations. It was made the Grafcet functional diagram of the program and then implemented in the TIA Portal software. Parallelly to the main project were also conducted other independent activities. These activities were proposed by the maintenance team and were as follows: implementation of a mold humidi cation system, replacement of a mechanical camshaft system by an industrial programmable logic controller (PLC) and also the replacement of an industrial robot bearing. In the end of the internship, one of the goals, that was having the machine fully assembled and working, was partially ful lled. The assembly wasn't completed and this is justi ed by sucessive delays in the delivery of materials, among others discussed in the report's conclusions. However, globally analysing the internship, it's possible to say that it was very positive because the main goal, the monitoring and participation in the project and construction of the machine, was accomplished. |
