Estudo sobre uma nova solução de acomodação temporária

Abstract

O mercado de acomodação temporária encontra-se em crescendo, bem como a variedade desta tipologia de espaços. No entanto, as soluções atualmente oferecidas apresentam um grande desfasamento a nível de atributos. O mercado é inovador e apresenta soluções contextualizadas numa determinada utilização ou nicho de mercado. O valor comercial sobrepõe-se ao nível de conforto e bem-estar gerando soluções criativas mas pouco humanizadas. A composição da dissertação centra-se no tema das habitações temporárias e no atual gap no mercado em fornecer uma alternativa acessível de dormida, com a noção de conforto acrescentado. Este estudo procura compreender a história e evolução deste género de espaços, a sua popularidade e a necessidade de projetar um modelo que englobe o utilizador atual, o utilizador emergente, as inovações materiais existentes e melhore a oferta do mercado atual. O estudo apresentado é um exercício que visa criar as linhas-guia fundamentais para o desenvolvimento de unidades de acomodação modulares, sustentáveis, autossuficientes e inovadoras face às necessidades básicas de habitabilidade e espaço de dormida.

The market for temporary accommodation is growing, as well as the range of this type of space. However, the solutions currently provided have a large gap in terms of attributes. The market is innovative and presents overcontextualized solutions in a given framework or of use or a market niche. The commercial value of development overlaps the level of comfort and well-being generating creative solutions yet shortly humanized. The dissertation focus on the topic of temporary housing and in the current gap in the market to provide an affordable alternative to sleeping with the notion of improved comfort. This study seeks to understand the history and evolution of this kind of spaces, its popularity and the need to design a model that encompasses the current user, the emerging user, the existing materials innovations and improve the current market offer. The present study is an exercise that aims to create fundamental guidelines for the development of modular, sustainable, energetically self-sufficient and innovative units that meet the basic needs for housing and overnight accommodation.
