Tradução e estudo comparado dos textos envolvidos em processos de divórcio no Reino Unido e em Portugal

Abstract

O divórcio está cada vez mais presente no dia a dia, e, com a crescente internacionalização, está igualmente o divórcio entre casais de diferentes nacionalidade. Assim, é inteiramente possível que um tema como o divórcio seja futuramente objeto de trabalho. Como tal, o presente projeto propõe-se explorar as diferenças entre o divórcio no Reino Unido (Inglaterra e País de Gales) e em Portugal numa comparação a vários níveis, e a realizar traduções dos documentos ingleses envolvidos nesse processo com o objetivo de no futuro, possivelmente, poderem servir de apoio a portugueses residentes no Reino Unido que desejam divorciar-se.

By now, the divorce is a part of our daily lives. The divorce between people of different nationalities grows with the crescent internalization. It is possible that I and other translators will work with this subject in the future. As such, this project has the goal of translating the texts involved in the process of divorce in the United Kingdom (England and Wales), with t the hope that the translations might someday help Portuguese living in the UK who want to divorce there; as well as studying and comparing the differences between the divorces in the UK and Portugal.
