O uso do artigo por aprendentes chineses de português língua estrangeira

Abstract

O artigo é talvez a unidade gramatical com um significado mais abstrato. É, por isso, muitas vezes, ignorado pelos alunos chineses que estudam a língua portuguesa. Porém, o artigo desempenha um papel fundamental numa frase. O uso errado do artigo pode alterar o sentido da frase. O artigo é colocado antes de um substantivo para determinar o seu sentido e, por isso, pertence à classe dos determinantes. Na língua chinesa, não há artigo. Em Mandarim usa-se o numeral/demonstrativo juntamente com um classificador nominal que desempenham uma função semelhante à do artigo em língua portuguesa. A presente dissertação tem como objetivo principal analisar as questões quando se usa e estuda o artigo e ajudar os estudantes a compreender a sua utilização de forma mais concisa. Além disso, neste estudo faz-se uma comparação entre o artigo definido e o artigo indefinido, apresentando-se alguns dos exemplos mais representativos na sua prática de inquérito, resumindo as caraterísticas gramaticais do artigo, e expondo os problemas mais frequentes resultantes da sua utilização. Pretende-se, igualmente, ilustrar alguns dos erros mais comuns cometidos pelos alunos chineses na utilização do artigo, no sentido de para os ajudar a evitar esses mesmos erros no futuro.

The article is a grammatical unit with a most abstract meaning which will often be ignored by Chinese students when they are studying the language of Portuguese. However, the article plays a very important role in a sentence. Wrong use of the article can change the meaning of a sentence. The article is usually placed before a noun to determine the meaning of the noun, therefore, the article belongs to determinants. Do not have the article in Chinese language. In Mandarin the numeral / demonstrative is used together with a classifier that performs a function similar to the article in Portuguese language. The main objective of this dissertation is to analyze the issues when use and study the article and help students to understand the use of the article in a more concise way. In addition, in this study a comparison is made between the definite article and the indefinite article, presenting some of the most representative examples in its survey practice, summarizing the grammatical characteristics of the article, and exposing the most frequent problems resulting from its use. It is also intended to illustrate some of the most common mistakes made by Chinese students in using the article in the sense of helping them to avoid those same mistakes in the future.
