| pt |
dc.description.abstract | Based on the TPM culture of “zero accidents, zero defects and zero failures”, emphasizing the planned maintenance, this report describes the use of this continuous improvement methodology in a production line at Sociedade da Água de Luso, S.A. company. The introduction of the BDA (Breakdown Analysis), to reduce the failure rate, the KAIZEN 12 steps methodology coupled with the MTBA (Mean Time Between Assists) indicator, to increase productivity and the 5S tool in the maintenance area, provided very positive results. Thus, during the period of the internship, the value of the OPI NONA (Operational Performance Indicator – No Order No Activity) indicator increased about 14%, resulting in a financial benefit of around 132.000€. In addition, the maintenance area has now better conditions of safety and work, is more agile to execute new tasks, and reduced energy consumption. A future step is the fusion of the pillar of Planned Maintenance with the Autonomous Management, embodying the Factory Maintenance. | pt |
