Reetruturação curricular do ensino secundário em Timor-Leste : o novo programa do 10º ano de temas de literatura e cultura

Abstract

O presente trabalho pretende descrever e analisar, enquadrando-o no âmbito de uma reforma curricular do Ensino Secundário Geral em Timor-Leste realizada em Timor-Leste em 2012, o programa do 10.º ano da disciplina de Temas de Literatura e Cultura. Refletindo sobre o contexto timorense e o projeto de reestruturação curricular desenvolvido no âmbito de uma parceria de cooperação com Portugal, este trabalho sublinha a novidade da introdução desta disciplina, bem como dos respetivos conteúdos e propostas metodológicas, valorizando o seu relevo, quer no desenvolvimento e consolidação da língua portuguesa, quer na divulgação da literatura timorense, situando-a no contexto das literaturas em língua portuguesa do espaço lusófono.

The present work intends to describe and analyse, as part of a curricular reform of East Timor Secondary Education held in East Timor in 2012, the syllabus of the 10th grade program of a new teaching subject named Literature and Culture Themes. Reflecting on the East Timorese context and the curricular restructuring project developed under a cooperation partnership with Portugal, this work highlights the novelty of this new teaching subject, as well as its contents and methodological proposals, underlining its importance, both in the development and consolidation of the Portuguese language, and in the dissemination of East Timorese literature, situated in the context of Portuguese-language literatures in the Lusophone space.
