Abstract: Biofuels, which consist of fuels produced from biomass, are suitable renewable alternatives to conventional motor fuels (e.g. gasoline, diesel). Bioethanol and biodiesel are the most promising biofuels. Biofuels can be generated from various raw materials, like lignocellulosic biomass and its derivatives.
