Dificuldades e estratégias de superação do músico com baixa visão

Abstract

A presente pesquisa foi motivada pela experiência pessoal do autor, músico com baixa visão. Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar as dificuldades e estratégias de superação de músicos com baixa visão bem como identificar recursos e estratégias pedagógicas que possibilitem o ensino da música nos mais variados contextos (Conservatórios, Escolas de Música, Universidades, Bandas Filarmónicas, aulas particulares e outras). Além duma reflexão autobiográfica realizou-se um inquérito com dois questionários dirigidos a cinco participantes, três músicos e dois não músicos. Conclui-se que ainda existem obstáculos que limitam a aprendizagem e performance de um músico com baixa visão, nomeadamente pela falta de recursos pedagógicos e ferramentas específicas de apoio. Esta temática que não é exclusiva a músicos com baixa visão, deve mobilizar a participação e o envolvimento de toda a comunidade artística e científica

The present search was motivated by the personal experience of the author, a musician with low vision. This study aims to identify the difficulties and strategies used by musicians with low vision in overcoming the difficulties imposed by low vision, as well as to identify resources and pedagogical strategies that allow the teaching of music in the most varied contexts (Conservatories, Music Schools, Universities, Philharmonic Bands, private lessons and others). Besides an autobiographical survey, a questionnaire-based investigation was conducted involving five participants, three musicians and two non musicians. This study shows that there are still obstacles that limit the learning and performance of a musician with low vision, namely the lack of pedagogical resources and specific support tools. This theme, which is not exclusive to musicians with low vision, must mobilize the participation and involvement of the entire artistic and scientific community.
