Da relação sujeito-língua: um estudo com alunos do secundário de língua portuguesa

Abstract

O presente trabalho resulta de um conjunto de indagações que se foram levantando ao longo do meu percurso de profissional de ensino como professora e formadora no âmbito disciplinar da Língua Portuguesa. Aprofundar os conhecimentos sobre as relações complexas que se estabelecem entre sujeitos aprendentes, a/s sua/s língua/s materna/s e o mundo foi o objectivo impulsionador desta investigação, almejando, subsequentemente, viabilizar uma transposição sustentada do saber teórico para uma prática didáctica capaz de aproximar o sujeito à sua língua. Assim, as questões de investigação formuladas procuraram indagar junto dos sujeitos-aprendentes conhecimentos indiciadores sobre a função constitutiva da linguagem, relativamente: - ao processo de elaboração de conceitos para o conhecimento o mundo; - ao processo de construção de identidades e sentidos de pertença; - à possibilidade de criatividade e realização humanas. Compreendendo o fenómeno de linguagem como instrumento estruturador de sentido e agente de tradução de uma construção do pensamento, realizei uma experiência desenvolvida em sete módulos de intervenção intencionalmente direccionados para os focos de incidência sobre a função categorizante e estruturante da linguagem. As actividades fundadas na noção de interlocução proporcionaram uma acção de ensino-aprendizagem como espaço de produção de linguagem e de constituição, privilegiando ao sujeito-aprendente aceder, construir, interpretar, transmudar, interagir, criar sentidos, envolvendo-se a si, o outro e o mundo.

The present work is the result of a series of questions that arose during my professional experience both as a teacher and as a teacher trainer of Portuguese as a mother tongue. The aim of this study was to deepen my knowledge of the complex relationships between the learners, their native languages and the world and subsequently to be able to transfer the theoretic knowledge to the didactic practice in order to near the subject to its language. From this investigation with Portuguese students as native learners doing their secondary education resulted mainly the confirmation of the initial suspicion of the fundamental role of the native language. Therefore, the investigation questions try to find if the learners have acknowledgements about the function of language constitution, in relation to: - the process of elaborating meanings to know the world; - the process of building identities; - the possibility of human creativity. I understand the phenomenon of language as a tool that builds the sense and an agent that translates our way of thinking and I made an experience based on seven types of intervention aimed on purpose to the themes about the function characterises and builds the language. The activities based on the notion of interaction gave a way to a teaching-learning action as a space of language production and constitution, giving an advantage to the learner in accessing, building, interpreting, re-changing, interacting, creating senses, involving himself, the other and the world.
