Organizações não-governamentais de direitos humanos: o caso da China

Abstract

O presente trabalho propõe-se a analisar o papel de Organizações não-governamentais de direitos humanos, após o período da II Guerra Mundial, na China. Através dos testemunhos de académicos de renome, foi possível verificar que o trabalho a desenvolver na China ainda é notório. No entanto, a história e evolução dos Direitos Humanos e sua contextualização também figuram neste trabalho, de modo a melhor analisar o assunto mencionado. Conceitos como países democráticos e não democráticos são extensamente analisados neste trabalho, bem como um estudo da história das Organizações não-governamentais e da China, país escolhido para esta investigação.

The present study aims to analyse the role of Human Rights Non-Governmental Organizations, after the II World War period, in China. Through the testimonies of renowned academics, it stood out the remaining work that has to be done regarding this issue in China. However, Human Rights History and its context are also a part of this study, in order to better analyse the mentioned topic. Concepts like democratic and non democratic countries are also analysed in this study, as well as a study of the history of the non-governmental organizations and China, chosen country for this study.
